The softball team improved to 7-0 after a 7-1 victory over Indiana State on Thursday, Feb. 14.
Hilary Mavromat improved to 2-0 with a complete-game win. Mavromat allowed one run, earned, on two hits with four walks and five strikeouts.
The Tigers took the 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning, but that lead was quickly erased when Shelby Wilson crushed a leadoff home run off the scoreboard in left-center to even the game at 1-1 in the top of the fourth inning.
Auburn would retake the lead for good in the fifth inning and would go on to the final score of 7-1.
The Tigers will play Tennessee State at 12:30 p.m. and Bryant at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb 15.
