After a night on the town, people always seem to have one thing on their mind: food. Hot spots after the bars vary, but usually people end up stopping by Jimmy Johns, Mama Goldberg's or Little Italy Pizzeria because they stay open until the wee hours of the morning. With people flooding in after a night of drinking, the employees at these restaurants have many stories to tell that usually only they remember the next morning.

Whether it's people passing out mid-bite or throwing up at tables, Jimmy John's employee Kimberly Johnson has seen it all.

"The strangest (story) would have to be people puking everywhere, but the bathroom," Johnson said. "There's been times we've had to put our trashcan beside a table because people just take one bite and they're like 'Oh, God.'"

Johnson has also had some interesting experiences while working delivery. People have failed to answer their phones, fallen asleep before getting their order and even forgotten about their order completely.

"We get there and they don't remember ordering at all," Johnson said. "We've had people call back again after they already forget once."

Mama Goldberg's employee Brandon Ferrell has also seen many drunken shenanigans.

"We had a guy come in here, like, off-his-ass drunk and he requested a sandwich with no meat, just jalapenos and the spiciest things we had because he was in a bet with his friends," Ferrell said.

"I'm usually on morning shifts and there's this one girl in particular who comes in all the time drunk from the night before at like, 10 in the morning asking for pitchers," another Mama Goldberg's employee said. "It doesn't even look like she went home to take a shower yet."

Little Italy Pizzeria is another place constantly packed on weekends, especially since they continue to serve alcohol after the bars have closed, a smart strategy to increase revenue while simultaneously increasing the likelihood of drunken antics.

"There's this one older lady who comes in here and get's really, really wasted," said Little Italy employee Patrick Carter. "And she goes around and talks to everyone in here. She doesn't even know them, she just sits down besides them and starts talking to them. As the night progresses, she gets a little more drunk and then she starts falling asleep with a beer in her hand."

Little Italy Pizzeria has had an instance where an individual was shoved completely through the front window, shattering glass everywhere.

All of these incidences occur on repeat for each of these restaurants, supplying unlimited entertainment but also wreaking havoc in the process. Because after someone makes a mess, it's these employees who have to stay and clean it up after everyone else heads home, leaving us all with a new appreciation for the people who work the late shift on a busy weekend.
