The No. 2 ranked women's equestrian team defeated No. 1 Georgia and Delaware Saturday, Feb. 23 by scores of 12-8 and 15-4, respectively.
The Tigers are undefeated this spring and improve their record to 8-1 (4-1 SEC).
"As predicted, it was a great meet between two great teams against Georgia," Auburn coach Greg Williams said. "Winning on the road in this sport is always difficult, but it is a great accomplishment pulling it off at the top-ranked team's place. The Georgia riders were tough as always and did a great job hosting the doubleheader."
The women will now take a seven game winning streak to their last regular season meet of the season before the Tigers play host to the SEC Equestrian Championship March 29-30.
