The women's basketball team dropped its final road game 59-44 at Vanderbilt Thursday, Feb. 28.

The Tigers forced 26 turnovers on the night but shot poorly. Auburn was .296 from the field in the first half and was only 1-14 on the night from three point land.

"This is probably about the worst that we have played," Auburn coach Terri Williams-Flournoy said. "We had 20 more field goal attempts than they did, 61-41. We forced them into 26 turnovers. We played probably about as bad as we could have played all year long. We were fading away, scared of contact. You are throwing up a shot and fading away from the basket instead of going up strong."

Tyrese Tanner highlighted the team's play with 14 points and six rebounds. She was the only Tiger who scored double digit points.

Auburn will return home for its final game of the season Sunday, March 3 against Mississippi State at 2 p.m.
