The women's swim team earned six All-America honors Saturday, March 23 in the final night of the 2013 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.

The 400-yard freestyle team of Hannah Riordan, Emily Bos, Megan Fonteno and Olivia Scott and seniors Kate Gardocki and Micah Lawrence each received All-America honors for their performances, bringing the week's total to 19.

"These ladies have worked so hard all year, and I'm extremely proud of all of them, especially our seniors," Auburn coach Brett Hawke said. "I'm even more proud of how well our team bonded together this year, worked through some adversity, and kept a positive, confident attitude the whole season. We achieved a lot this year and this week. It's always a positive when you can have an NCAA Champion in an event. But we know we are capable of achieving a lot more. Some of the results this week were disappointing, but I'm not at all disappointed in our athletes. We'll get back to work in a couple of weeks and get ready for the long-course season, and then start preparing for next season."

Georgia won the competition, while Auburn finished in 13th overall.

The men's championship will begin Thursday, March 28 at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis.
