The Auburn women's soccer team traveled to Samford University on Sunday to take on SEC rival Ole Miss.

Auburn got off to the stronger start and established some good rhythm in the game. A solid possession by the Lady Tigers lead to a narrowly missed goal by Alex Massey in the game's early minutes.

Ole Miss responded with a few good possession of its own. However, a miss from close range toward the of the half kept the score tied, 0-0.

The second half proved to be more of the same. Both teams missed some good opportunities, but the defensive efforts are not to be undermined.

Again, Auburn missed on one of its best opportunities of the game. Kala Faulkner made a long sprint down the field and received a cross from Alex Massey, only to miss from close range.

The game ended in a 0-0 draw, and with it came the end of the Lady Tiger's spring season.

Auburn ended the season with a record of 17-11-2, and will look to prepare for pre-season training when they return.
