Hearings for grandsons of Auburn City Council member, Arthur Dowdell, have been set to begin hearing evidence related to the two's alleged connection with first-degree rape charges.
According to OANow, preliminary hearings for Drekian Dowdell, 21, of Box Springs, Ga. are set for Sept. 25 to be heard by Opelika District Judge Steven Speakman. Hearings for Jywan Marionate Tyrell Moss, 18, of Auburn, are set for Sept. 11, heard by Opelika District Judge Russell K. Bush
On June 18, cousins Dowdell and Moss were arrested regarding an alleged incident including a 15-year-old juvenile.
