Daniel Carlson, Auburn's freshman kicker and punter, was named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday after his performance against LSU.
In the 41-7 win, Carlson hit field goals of 46 and 42 yards, averaged 40.7 yards on three punts, and kicked five touchbacks on seven kickoffs.
After only five games in his short career, Carlson has already claimed two SEC Player of the Week awards. He was previously awarded SEC Freshman of the Week after Auburn's game against Arkansas.
He is also the second Auburn player this season to be awarded the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week, the first being Quan Bray last week following his 76-yard punt return against Louisiana Tech.
On the season, Carlson is 7-9 on field goal attempts with a long of 46 yards, and is averaging 42.1 yards on 16 punts with a long of 62.
