University students are invited to a special event hosted by head coach Bruce Pearl and the Auburn men's basketball team that will be held Thursday, Oct. 30 at Auburn Arena.
Pearl Jam will include a team scrimmage and introduction of the 2014-15 team and coaching staff.
Students in attendance will be among the first to hear the new name for the student section currently known as "The Jungle." Students will be able to give their input and ideas regarding the student section atmosphere for the upcoming season as well.
Students will have an opportunity to get photos and autographs from Pearl and the team following the event.
Aubie, the Auburn cheerleaders, Tiger Paws, and pep band will be present. Free food, t-shirts and prizes will also be included.
The Pearl Jam is free to attend and the event is only open to University students. Students can enter through the student entrance on the north side of Auburn Arena at 6:30 p.m.
