TigerMail administrators sent a mass email to users Oct. 27 at approximately 9:50 a.m.
According to the email, TigerMail users have recently seen a large increase in spam emails.
The administrators said spammers have found a way to spam Office 365 without being detected by its filters.
An incident has been opened with Microsoft, but the emails have not stopped.
Students are encouraged to report all spam mail to Microsoft and to contact the OIT HelpDesk with any questions or concerns.
