The Auburn volleyball team dropped their 11th match of the season Friday against Ole Miss, losing three of four sets.
The loss was the fourth straight for the Tigers, dropping them to 9-11 overall on the season, with a 1-6 mark in Southeastern Conference play, while the Rebels improved to 17-3 overall with 3-3 SEC record.
The Tigers gave Ole Miss a run for their money in the early going, dropping the first set narrowly by a score 23-25. The second set was all Auburn, who won decisively by a score of 25-15.
Ole Miss took the next two sets to close out the match, winning 25-18 and 25-19 in back to back sets.
Stats leaders for the Tigers were Courtney Crable and Stephanie Campbell, who both had 15 kills in the match, an SEC-play career best for Campebell, a sophomore.
Alexa Filley had a double-double, with 45 assists and 11 digs.
The Tigers next match will be against archrival Alabama on Wednesday at 8:00 P.M. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU and admission is free for fans.
