Kesha, Nelly and Nick Jonas will perform at Toomer’s Corner on Saturday, April 18, during the University’s Corner Block Party.
Amanda Hurite, UPC president and senior in industrial engineering, said she expects a positive reaction from students.
“I think the response is going to be insane,” Hurite said. “Nick Jonas is really relevant right now. He’s a lot of fun and I think people are really excited about it.”
Sagar Leva, UPC director of major entertainment and senior in finance, said Nick Jonas was chosen carefully.
“We wanted to bring an opener that would appeal to a broad range of people,” Leva said. “He has top albums out right now and we thought he would be the best performer to appeal to a broad range of people. From kids all the way up to adults.”
