Auburn defensive backs Kamryn Melton, Derrick Moncrief and Joe Turner announced they will be transferring before the start of the 2015 football season, according to a report by Saturday Down South.
Coach Gus Malzahn made the announcement Friday, May 15, on auburntigers.com.
“Kamryn, Derrick and Joe have decided to transfer and pursue playing opportunities elsewhere,” Malzahn said. "We thank them for their time at Auburn and wish them well in the future.”
Moncrief, with 27 tackles in 13 appearances, and Melton were set to play on secondary this season, and Turner was hoping to make moves toward first string.
