Stephen Howard, the University lab technician who was arrested and charged with distributing GHB, was indicted by a grand jury, according to the Opelika-Auburn News.
Howard was indicted on three counts of possessing with an intent to distribute 1,4-butainediol, which converts to GHB. He was also indicted on two firearms charges and one count of possessing methamphetamine, according to the report.
According to the report, Howard must also give up two firearms, a Ruger LC 9 millimeter pistol and a Mossberg Maverick Model 88 shotgun.
Howard's arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the U.S. District Court in Montgomery.
