Cornerback T.J. Davis will not be ready to play by the beginning of the season, Auburn coach Gus Malzahn announced on Monday, July 13.
Davis is recovering from an ACL injury he suffered in the spring.
Malzahn said he hopes Davis will be ready for play by October.
The junior from Tallahassee, Florida, was Auburn's fourth cornerback for much of the 2014 season.
