Kizzire wins his second Web.com event

Former Auburn golfer Patton Kizzire recorded his second win this year on the Web.com Tour in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Sunday.

Kizzire shot a cumulative 20-under par at the News Sentinel Open at Fox Den Country Club, finishing four strokes ahead of Si Woo Kim and Brad Fritsch. The former SEC Champion had a strong weekend from start to finish, shooting 68-68-64-64 over the four days of play.

Fellow Auburn graduates Michael Hebert and Dominic Bozzelli finished tied for 9th and tied for 13th in the tournament, respectively.

The win was the second of the month for Kizzire, as he captured his first career victory at the Utah Championship on Aug. 2.

It also increased his lead on the Web.com Tour money list, moving his total to $512,553 on the year. The top 25 players on the 2015 money list earn a PGA TOUR card for the 2016 season, and with only five events left in the 2015 season, Kizzire appears to have secured his card.
