SGA will hold an open forum for the Auburn Memorial Project from 6-7:30 p.m. in Student Center Room 2227 on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
The forum is open to anybody, according to SGA's website, and a presentation will be given by Walker Byrd, SGA president, and the facility division on the plans for the memorial.
The project has an approved budget of $1.25 million and $150,000 is still needed to complete this goal, Byrd said at the Oct. 5 Senate meeting.
The memorial will replace the existing Garden of Memory at the corner of Samford Avenue and Mell Street across from the President’s Mansion.
