South Donahue dorm burglaries

During spring break, several students' rooms were broken into and had valuable electronics stolen. Police later arrested three people, including former Auburn defensive end Elijah Daniel, and charged them with the burglaries.

Student media restructuring leads to the elimination of nine University positions

Student Affairs announced restructuring to Student Media and consolidated nine student media positions into five, and forced employees to reapply for their positions. The announcement drew sharp criticism from The Auburn Plainsman Editorial Board.

Mike Hubbard's defense attorneys allege prosecutorial misconduct

Defense attorneys for Alabama Speaker Mike Hubbard filed a motion arguing for the case to be dismissed on the grounds of prosecutorial misconduct. 

AU Indian Student Association holds a flash mob on the concourse

Supper Club announces it will be closing on New Year's Eve

After 78 years of operations, the War Eagle Supper Club announced it will be closing at the end of the year. Employees formed a Facebook group called "Save the War Eagle Supper Club" that quickly rose to more than 7,000 likes.

Alpha Psi holds its annual rodeo, arrests at the event increase

Brad Paisley performed at the Alpha Psi Rodeo, and a change in location led to an increase in arrests over the previous year.
