A portion of Mell Street, as well as the main Ralph B. Draughon Library entrance facing Mell Street, will close after the fall 2015 graduation ceremony, according to a campus notice. The roads will remain closed through the summer of 2017, while the Mell Classroom Building is under construction.

The partial Mell Street closure will affect bicycle, pedestrian and vehicle traffic, according to the notice.
The Mell Street project will include the construction of the Mell Classroom Building, as well as the renovation of 38,000 square feet of space in the RBD library. The renovation will add 17 classrooms and more than 25 group study rooms.
