Auburn University alumni, students and community members have been participating in Tiger Giving Day, a 24-hour fundraiser for more than 20 colleges and departments across campus, since midnight Tuesday, Dec. 1.
Seven projects — The School of Nursing's CAREing Paws, the College of Architecture's Rural Studio, theCollege of Education's international travel and outreach, the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center's playground, Auburn's Canine Performance Science's detection dog obstacle course, the Graduate School's graduate student research and Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art travel and photography fund — have reached their goals.
But some projects could still use donations as of 5 p.m.:
1. Human Science's Support Enriching Study-Abroad Experiences has raised $425, 2 percent of its goal.
2. College of Agriculture's Medicinal Plant Garden has raised $3,240, 9 percent of its goal.
3. College of LiberalAuburn Audiology in Guatemala has raised $4,080, 22 percent of its goal.
4. The University's Academic Enrichment Camp has raised $2,445, 24 percent of its goal.
5. School of Pharmacy's Providing Access to Wellness Services has raised $2,755, 27 percent of its goal.
