Update 1:15 a.m. Dec. 25: The flash flood warning for Lee County has been extended until 7 a.m.
Additional storms are expected throughout the night, according to The National Weather Service.
"Be especially cautious at night, when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding," the weather service said in its warning.

Update 3:56 p.m.: The National Weather service has extended the flash flood warning for Lee County to 10 p.m.
Rain will continue into the evening hours, according to the weather service.
Update 1 p.m.: The National Weather service has extended the flash flood warning for Lee County to 4 p.m.
The weather service said 2-6 inches of rain had already fallen in the warning area, and an additional 1-2 inches of rain was expected.
The Lee County Emergency Management Agency reported several Auburn roads as flooded.

Update 11:35 a.m.: Multiple reports of flooded roads are occurring in low-lying areas in the Auburn, according to police and fire radio traffic.
Officials with the Auburn Public Safety department could not be reached for comment, but police were setting up barricades in multiple locations as water levels rose.
Most flood deaths occur in vehicles, according to the National Weather Service.
Update 10:20 a.m.: The National Weather Service has extended the flash flood warning for Lee County until 1:15 p.m.
Update 10:07 a.m.: The National Weather service has canceled the tornado watch for Lee.
The flash flood warning remains in effect until noon.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Lee County until 11 a.m.
Conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in the watch area, according to the weather service.
The watch area extends over southeastern Alabama and southwestern Georgia.
The weather service also issued a flash flood warning for Lee County until noon.
Up to 2 inches of rain have already fallen as another heavy thunderstorm that may produce an additional 1-2 inches of rain was moving into the area, according to the weather service.
