After starting conference play with a win, Auburn has now dropped its next three SEC games following a 75-57 loss at Vanderbilt on Tuesday.
Auburn (7-8, 1-3) shot just 32.8 percent from the field and connected on four of 22 shots from beyond the arc, while Vanderbilt shot a torrid 55.3 percent for the game, including 7-of-13 from 3.
Cinmeon Bowers registered his seventh double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds, but only one other Tiger — Kareem Canty — scored in double figures.
Vanderbilt's Luke Kornet collected a triple-double, posting 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks, and Wade Baldwin IV added a double-double for the Commodores with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Auburn fell behind early as Vanderbilt raced out to an early double-digit lead, which was pushed to a 39-22 advantage at halftime. The lead ballooned to as much as 66-43, but Auburn cut the lead down to 16 points before the Commodores pulled away.
Auburn returns home to face No. 14 Kentucky on Saturday at 3 p.m.
