The eighth-ranked Auburn gymnastics team scored a 197.125 on Friday in Baton Rouge, its best road score of the season, in a 197.825-197.125 loss at No. 6 LSU.
Auburn opened on bars with a 49.150, led by senior Kait Kluz and sophomore Abby Milliet, who each scored a 9.875.
Next up was vault, where Auburn scored a 49.225. Senior Caitlin Atkinson led the Tigers with a 9.900.
Auburn then scored a 49.450 on floor, again led by Atkinson with a 9.925.
Auburn closed out the meet on beam with a 49.300. Four different Tigers scored a 9.875.
Auburn is now 3-4 overall and 2-4 in SEC play. The Tigers will host No. 19 Missouri next Friday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. CT.
