The arrest warrant for former Auburn running back and current Los Angeles Ram Tre Mason has been withdrawn.
Broward County 17th Circuit Court Judge Robert Diaz withdrew the warrant Monday after it was revealed the warrant, which had been issued April 13, was mistakenly sent to the wrong address, which is why Mason was unaware of his court date, the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Mason had been due to appear in court to be arraigned for four charges stemming from an incident March 5 in Hollywood, Florida. A police officer pulled Mason over for speeding, then tased him after Mason resisted arrest. The officer, along with two others, then found marijuana in Mason's car.
According to the Daily News' report, Mason's notice for arraignment had been mailed March 23 but returned to sender two weeks later.
