Auburn University's Truman Pierce Institute and the Office of Professional and Continuing Education will host the sixth annual Anti-Bullying Summit June 23-24 at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center in Peachtree City, Georgia, according to a University release.

The Anti-Bullying Summit will provide teachers, school administrators, parents, community leaders, law enforcement, counselors, social workers and mental health professionals with an opportunity to learn ways to address the pervasive issue of bullying in schools and communities, the release states. This year's program will offer more than 30 break-out sessions that examine a range of topics, such as cyberbullying protection, bullying and school violence, model school intervention programs and community anti-bullying initiatives

Keynote presenters include Sameer Hinduja, Rebecca Ang and Trish Prabhu.

NFL Hall of Famer Darrell Green will present a workshop as part of the Strong Youth, Strong Communities initiative sponsored by Centene and Cenpatico, according to the release. Strong Youth, Strong Community focuses on raising youth’s awareness of the importance of active thinking, sound judgment and creating and enacting a healthy “living constitution” for success in life.

Hero Awards will be presented to individuals and community groups who have taken proactive measures to eliminate bullying.
