Football kickoff times set for weeks two and three

The kickoff times for Auburn’s week two and week three games were announced Tuesday on The Paul Finebaum Show on The SEC Network. The first three football games this season will be under the lights in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The Tigers week two game at Jordan-Hare Stadium against the Arkansas State Red Wolves will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CST and can be seen on the SEC Network. Auburn’s week three game against the Texas A&M Aggies will also be on the Plains and can be seen on either ESPN or ESPN2 at 6 p.m. CST.

When Arkansas State travels to Auburn to take on the Tigers on Sept. 10, it will be Gus Malzahn’s second time to face his former team. Former Auburn coach Trooper Taylor is also now the defensive backs coach for the Red Wolves. Auburn leads the series all-time against Arkansas State 3-0 with the last meeting occurring in 2013.

Texas A&M will travel to the Plains to take on Auburn on Sept. 17 in the SEC opener for both teams. The Aggies lead the all-time series 4-2 and the road team has won the contest in each of the four times the teams have met since the Aggies joined the SEC in 2012. Auburn won last years meeting in College Station, Texas, 26-10.

Auburn will take on the defending ACC Champion and national runner-up Clemson in week one. The game is set to kickoff at 8 p.m. CST on Sept. 3 at Jordan-Hare Stadium. It will be televised on ESPN.
