Tiger Basketball to Play at TCU in 2016-2017 Big12/SEC Challenge

Auburn Basketball has agreed to travel to Fort Worth to take on the TCU Horned Frogs as a part of next seasons Big12/ SEC Challenge. This will be the third time in the past four years the Tigers have played in the challenge on the road, only facing Oklahoma State in Auburn Arena last season.

The road schedule for Auburn next season includes a trip to Birmingham to take on UAB, a trip to New York to face Boston College in Madison Square Garden and a trip to Mexico to compete in the Cancun Challenge.

The Horned Frogs are coached by Jamie Dixon, who will be spending his first year coaching at his alma mater after coaching 17 years in various capacities at the University of Pittsburgh. Dixon looks to turn things around for the Horned Frogs who went 12-21 last season.

There is no word yet of when the game will take place between Auburn and TCU. During the 2015-2016 season, the challenge was scheduled in the middle of conference play. Auburn is still seeking its first victory in the Big12/SEC Challenge.
