Center Kaleb Kim is doubtful for this weekends A-Day game with an ankle injury, 247 Sports' Brandon Marcello reported Tuesday afternoon. His injury leaves Auburn with only one healthy center available for this weekend in Tucker Brown.
Brown has also been hampered an unknown injury this spring, which could force Gus Malzahn to turn to walk-ons Phelps Gambill and Trent Kelly to participate this weekend. Gambill and Kelly have been taking a majority of the snaps since Kim went down with his injury.
Auburn has been down another center as Nick Brahms broke his left fibula on March 27th. Brahms did not have surgery and should be healthy later in the summer and for fall camp.
Kim was injured last week and seen on crutches. It does not look like his injury will require surgery to repair any ligaments, even though Kim’s ankle has bothered him in the past.
