Auburn University’s Program Council has been awarded Plainsman’s Choice for best student organization.
UPC focuses on planning and holding events for Auburn students and members to attend like film nights and special events like fairs and Tiger Nights to give students a chance to socialize on campus.
Lauren Shepard, junior and biodemical science and Spanish, is the vice president of operations for UPC. She said they have plans to expand to bigger events in the coming semester.
“Were going to have a lot more larger scale events since we are on the back end of COVID,” Shepard said. “I’m super excited about it we definitely as an organization prioritize the individual student experience and this year we want to focus on more marketing and outreach a lot more because truly anyone can come to these.”
