An Auburn resident was charged with possession of child pornography on Thursday according to the Auburn Police Department.
Johnston Edward Taylor, 19, was arrested on felony warrants charging him with six counts of possession of child pornography.
Taylor became a suspect after APD and members of the Alabama Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force initiated an investigation on June 7.
After a search and collection of evidence, Taylor was subsequently arrested and charged on June 16, 2022. He was transported to the Lee County Jail and is being held on a $60,000 bond.
