The Auburn Tigers (3-3, 0-3) fell in heartbreaking fashion to the Georgia Bulldogs (5-1, 2-1) at home following a complete second-half collapse on Saturday night. This meltdown culminated due to many factors, such as a dysfunctional offensive attack, an inability to prevent the Bulldogs from converting third and fourth downs, and numerous penalties at inopportune times.

Wednesday, Sept. 24, the Office of Sustainability partnered with the Ralph Brown Draughon library Innovation and Research Commons to introduce Create and Cultivate, just one event in the MiniMake series. Held from 5 to 7 p.m., the event promoted sustainable crafting and horticulture by inviting participants to bring ceramic mugs and leave with an up cycled planter filled with its own greenery.

Beneath our cities, vast pipes snake out and flow into wastewater treatment plants, keeping our environment safe from the toxic waste that vanishes into the underground network. This assumption hides one of the greatest environmental scandals in American history.

Auburn football is set to play its 2025 home opener on Saturday, hosting the Ball State Cardinals at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Coming off a season-opening win against Baylor, Auburn enters this matchup with a 1-0 record and with the chance to build momentum and stay undefeated. The energy is high due to this being the first time Auburn fans will see this year’s team on their home turf, as the Tigers look to build on their strong performance from last week with hopes of a victory against Ball State.

On Wednesday, Aug. 27 at the Davis Arboretum, Auburn University hosted the 2025 edition of the Sustainability Picnic, with the mission of connecting students to different resources, academic opportunities and student groups working in the realm of sustainability. The annual zero-waste event featured free vegetarian food samples, live music and a variety of university organizations for attendees to connect with.

On Saturday, June 14, at 4 p.m., Auburn and Opelika residents joined to participate in the "No Kings” protest. Part of a nationwide initiative organized by the 50501 Movement, which stands for 50 protests, 50 states and one movement, protesters gathered to show their defiance against President Trump’s policies and reject what they call “authoritarianism.” The event was scheduled to align with the Army’s 250th anniversary celebration, Flag Day and the President Donald Trump's 79th birthday.

On Tuesday, April 22, Auburn UPC hosted their Earth Day Extravaganza. Over 20 on-campus and community organizations showcased their causes through informational graphics and fun activities. The event, which ran from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., consisted of activities like flower bouquet making, free food, t-shirt stamping and other crafts.
