Preparations for people's game day celebations begin early, from white tents being set up on Wednesdays to meal preparations. The week before is a time families and students prepare for how they will spend their game day. Many families have tailgates every weekend and have made it a tradition to be among the Auburn community on game day.

The University Program Council hosted country-rock band Trotline for a concert at a first-time Homecoming event on Friday, Sept. 13. Trotline is a southern country-rock band, well-known across the Auburn area by all ages and made the event a one-of-a-kind experience.

On Auburn University's game days, an eagle can be seen soaring above the Jordan-Hare stadium, spurred on by Auburn’s famous battle cry, “War Eagle.” When the eagle isn’t flying high above crowds of orange and blue, it can be located at the Auburn University Raptor Center with a variety of other raptors—from hawks and falcons, to owls and vultures.

Ben Bruud, local DJ, is the founder of Skybar’s theme nights, a tradition that began in 2022. These events are often sold out quickly, with attendees outfits and Bruud’s setlists both tailored to a specific theme. Small goodies are passed out at the door to those who line up early.
