Auburn University demanded nearly $800,000 from the man who poisoned the Toomers Oaks, Friday, in yet another page in the Harvey Updyke saga.
According to Opelika-Auburn News, Judge Jacob Walker ordered Updyke to pay $796,731.98 restitution charges including the $18,500 he owes on in court and legal fees.
The OA reported Updyke's attorney, Andrew Stanley, pleaded for Updyke, citing him as indignant, but the court deemed him fit to find work.
The court put Updyke on a $500 a month installment plan.
