Things keep getting better for the Auburn softball team.
The Tigers got down 4-0 early, but rallied back in the third to make it 4-3.
Auburn softball swept the competition with their performances in the Judi Garman classic in Fullerton, California, up until Cal State stepped up to the plate. Currently standing in the series, 3-1, with their victory over Long Beach State and Pacific on Thursday, the Tigers then added a win against No.13 Arizona Friday night, but the winning streak was broken in Friday night's second game.
The winning continued for Auburn softball Thursday, March 5, this time on the west coast.
When head coach Clint Myers was recruited to coach the Auburn softball team from Arizona Sate, Auburn agreed to make the switch a family affair, additionally bringing in his sons Corey and Casey Myers to help.

The previously 16th-ranked Auburn Tigers have proven worthy to jump two spots on this week’s National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association softball rankings, up to No. 14.

Auburn softball played a full seven innings to defeat Southern Illinois 8-5 Saturday, Feb. 28 as part of their “Strike Out Cancer” game at Jane B. Moore Field.
It was a slow start for the 16th ranked Tigers at home with no runs off of three hits in the first inning against Ohio State on Friday, Feb 27.
