Dear Editor:
What a wonderful National Championship celebration last weekend! I was very proud to see the extraordinary turnout, and was filled with pride as we honored our players, coaches, past greats and support staff. There is one other group which deserves the appreciation of the Auburn Family: The Auburn University Marching Band. Without the band, the Auburn football experience simply would not be the same. It's hard to imagine not hearing our fight song played during pre-game, after every significant play and especially after an emotional win. I, for one, would like to show my gratitude to the members of Auburn University Marching Band for their dedication and long hours of practice. The band is an integral part of the Auburn University athletic experience and embodies the Spirit of Auburn. So, thank you and congratulations, Auburn Band, for a job well done. You make us proud. War Damn Eagle!
