The equestrian's Western team defeated Baylor 5-3 in the opening round of the NCEA National Championships Thursday, April 18 at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas.
"The girls rode great," said Coach Greg Williams. "They are all focused and ready to go. The second round will be full of intensity and great rides."
The Tigers will face No. 1 seeded Oklahoma State Friday, April 19.
