A female Auburn student collided with a Tiger Transit bus at the Mell Street Loop at approximately 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 12, according to Officer Joseph Lovvorn of the Auburn Fire Department.
The identity of the student has not been confirmed.
Lovvorn said the student is in okay condition and has been taken to East Alabama Medical Center.
Lovvorn also said the exact details of the incident have not been confirmed.
“Either the student ran into the bus or was hit by the bus,” Lovvorn said. “We’re not sure at this point.”
