The Walter Camp Football Foundation announced on Friday, July 17, the names of 50 “players to watch” for the 2015 award.

The Walter Camp Award is presented annually to the best player in college football.

Among the players on the watch list is Auburn wide receiver D’haquille “Duke” Williams.

The 6-foot 2-inch senior led Auburn in 2014 with 45 catches and was second with 730 yards despite only starting seven of the Tigers’ 13 games because of injury.

Williams was one of only four wide receivers named to the watch list.

Despite being named to the watch list for the best player in college football, Williams was left off of the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award, which is presented annually to the best wide receiver in college football.
