After two meets last weekend, a victory over Kentucky on Friday and a loss to Alabama on Sunday, Auburn gymnastics dropped one spot to No. 8 in the latest rankings.
The Tigers were able to score more than a 196 in both meets, with a 196.275 vs. Kentucky and a 196.075 vs. Alabama.
Florida leads the rankings, followed by Oklahoma, Michigan and Alabama.
The Tigers are tied for fifth nationally on vault at 49.142, tied for fifth on bars at 49.167, 21st on floor at 48.883 and eighth on beam at 48.983.
The Tigers take on No. 1 Florida at Auburn Arena on Friday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m. CT. The meet also will be broadcasted on the SEC Network.
