After falling to No. 1 Florida in its last meet, the Auburn gymnastics team dropped just one spot to No. 9 in the latest national rankings.
The young Tigers endured a hectic early schedule that included four meets in 12 days, and they remain the fourth-highest ranked SEC team even with a 2-2 record.
Florida holds the top spot once again, followed by Oklahoma, Michigan, UCLA, Alabama, LSU, Utah and Arkansas.
Auburn is ranked seventh nationally on bars (49.150), 10th on vault (49.088), 12th on beam (48.913) and 22nd on floor (48.956).
The Tigers will take on No. 8 Arkansas in Fayetteville on Friday, Jan. 29, at 7:30 p.m. CT. The meet will be televised on SEC Network.
