The Auburn backcourt will receive a much-needed shot in the arm on Saturday, Feb. 20.
Junior guard T.J. Dunans will return to the court against Ole Miss after missing 15 games with a knee injury.
Dunans was originally slated to return within 3-5 weeks, but a minor procedure on the knee, which repaired tissue and arteries around the MCL and ACL, pushed his return back.
Auburn considered applying for a medical redshirt for Dunans but elected not to, as the NCAA would have had to grant him a sixth year of eligibility.
"It was his desire to come back and help the team," Auburn coach Bruce Pearl told the University's website. "There was a possibility that a redshirt could existed, but he was right on the line of his number of games."
Dunans started each of Auburn's 10 games before his injury and averaged 12.4 points, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
Auburn will face Ole Miss at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, at Auburn Arena.
