Auburn rises to No. 7 in RQS Rankings

After a season-best score at Georgia, Auburn gymnastics rose one spot to No. 7 nationally in the Regional Qualifying Score rankings with an average score of 196.940.

The Tigers scored a 197.325 to beat Georgia on the road for the first time in program history, which was both a season-high score and the best road score in program history.

Auburn has now been ranked in the top 10 for 21 consecutive weeks, and the No. 7 ranking is the highest Auburn has ever been ranked at this point in a season.

The Tigers also rank seventh on vault (49.235), seventh on bars (49.280), eighth on floor (49.390) and tied for 10th on beam (49.170).

Oklahoma remains first at 197.765, followed by Florida (197.580), LSU(197.340), Alabama (197.325) and Utah (197.105). The rest of the top 10 consists of Michigan (197.085), UCLA (196.865), Georgia (196.820) and Denver (196.605).

Auburn finishes its regular season on Friday, March 11, in Auburn Arena vs. Arizona State at 7 p.m. Seniors Caitlin Atkinson, Lexus Demers and Kait Kluz will be honored prior to the competition.
