Auburn assistant basketball coach Todd Golden has been hired by Kyle Smith of the University of San Francisco as an associate coach, Jeff Goodman of ESPN has reported.
Golden played for Smith at St. Mary's, graduating in 2007. He spent the 2013-14 season, also under Smith, at Columbia University before joining coach Bruce Pearl at Auburn in 2014.
After graduating from St. Mary's, Golden played overseas for two years with Maccabi Haifa, which plays in Israel's top division. He was co-captain of the USA Open Team in 2009, which Pearl coached.
