The Board of Trustees will vote on multiple renovation projects at its Friday, June 10 meeting.
The Haley Center Quad, the Gavin Engineering Research Building and Broun Hall could undergo renovations, according to the meeting documents.
If approved:
- The Haley Center Quad renovations will "facilitate the relocation of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics from Parker Hall and Allison Laboratory." The project will renovate approximately 40,000 square feet of space on the third floor of Haley Center Quads One and Two, the documents state
- The estimated total project cost of the Gavin Engineering Research Building renovations is $16.75 million. The renovation will provide space to relocate and consolidate several research labs.
- The Broun Hall renovations will include a "two-story main entrance addition, revised lighting, finishes, information technology, mechanical and electrical systems, and landscape improvements adjacent to the concourse." The estimated total cost is $5 million.
Also on the meeting's agenda:
- The final project approval of the Leach Science Center addition.
- Kappa Sigma fraternity lease extension.
- Approval of project initiation and selection of project architect for the Auburn University Hotel & Dixon Conference Center Ballroom renovation.
- Approval of project initiation and authorization to begin the project architect selection process for the Recreation & Wellness Center Basement Buildout project.
- Approval of project initiation and selection of project architect Poultry Infectious Disease Biocontainment Research Facility & Fish Biodiversity Laboratory relocation.
- Selection of construction manager for the Performing Arts Center.
- Approval of project for Timber Harvest and Sales at the Solon Dixon Forestry Education Center.
The Board will meet at the Auburn University Hotel & Dixon Conference Center in Ballroom B. The regular meeting will begin at 10 a.m.
