Auburn's campus Chick-fil-A has reached record-breaking sales in 2017 with $3 million, making the location the second highest grossing on-campus location in the country.
Chick-fil-A representatives will present an award to Tiger Dining by Chartwells team on Wednesday, June 7 at 2 p.m. The award will be presented at the on-campus Chick-fil-A.
The cow will be present at the event and cookies will be served throughout the celebration.
“Our guests love that we offer Chick-fil-A and we are thrilled that our location is being chosen over other off-campus dining options,” said Bill Sallustro, resident district manager for Tiger Dining by Chartwells.
Auburn's location has a long history of high sales and surpasses many other on-campus locations.
"Students have lots of options for dining on and off campus," said Candice Nagel, director of marketing for Dining by Chartwells. "We are just excited that students are choosing to stay on campus to dine with us."
Nagel said the traffic speaks volume for the success of Tiger Dining by Chartwells.
Tiger Dining by Chartwells strives to provide unique gathering venues and quality products for students, Sallustro said.
Nagel said hitting the $3 million mark was evidence of the dining spaces and selections encouraging places for academics, socialization and eating.
“Hitting such a high number in sales at Chick-fil-A shows that Tiger Dining is on the right track,” Sallustro said.
