Justice League debuts final trailer

This past Sunday at New York Comic Con, Warner Bros. Pictures unveiled the final trailer for their upcoming film, "Justice League," based on the superhero properties of DC Comics.

Called the "Heroes" trailer, it includes new scenes of fan-favorite characters like Batman, played by Ben Affleck and Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot, as well as Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg banding together after the death of Superman, played by Henry Cavill, to stop the evil Steppenwolf, played by Ciarán Hinds, from taking over the world.

Other characters like Lois Lane, Alfred Pennyworth and General Antiope are set to reprise their roles from previous DC Films.

Here is the full synopsis for "Justice League" from Warner Bros. Pictures:

"Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes – Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash – it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions."

The Justice League trailer capped off a slew of announcements from DC at this year's New York Comic Con, including a variety of releases including the original "Batman: The Animated Series" getting a Blu-Ray release as reported by Polygon.

"Justice League" premiers later this year on Nov. 17, 2017.
