The Auburn Family will be marathoning classic holiday movies this December.
Auburn Parks and Recreation will be putting on the holiday movie marathon with the help of the Donald E. Davis Arboretum, showing classics for the Auburn community to enjoy.
The event will take place at the David Arboretum’s big screen on Dec. 10, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Four movies will be shown, starting with “The Year Without a Santa Claus” and ending with “Christmas Vacation” at 7 p.m.
Everyone is welcome, especially families, to enjoy some holiday cheer with old holiday films. They encourage movie viewers to bring chairs and blankets, as it is expected to be chilly. Free hot dogs, hamburgers, warm drinks and popcorn will be provided and free to the public while it lasts.
The event will go on rain or shine, and they recommend participants come to the festivities following the 2 p.m. Auburn Christmas parade downtown.
