Men's tennis bests No. 44 Clemson

A Sunday afternoon of dominant doubles and singles victories coasted the No. 56 Auburn Tigers to a 4-3 win on the road at Clemson. 

Conner Huertas del Pino and Brandon Laubser along with Max Hinnisdaels and Olle Thestrup captured the doubles point by each defeating their opposing ACC Tigers duos 7-5. 

For singles, Dante Saleh set the tone with a straight set victory over Arturo Pizano 6-2, 6-1. Thestrup followed with a 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 win over Austin Ansari. Clemson managed wins in the three top spots, leaving the point to court six, where Auburn freshman Laubser defeated Brent Lett 5-7, 7-5, 6-3 to clinch the match.

Now 5-2 on the season, the Tigers will return home Friday for a doubleheader against Mercer at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
