SGA will host final town hall for the school year to discuss Auburn city issues related to students

SGA will host its final town hall for the 2017 - 2018 school year tonight inviting both students and community members for discussion.

The town hall will take place in the Mell Classroom building room 4510 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. The topic of the night's meeting will regard issues surrounding the city of Auburn.

At the town hall, students will have the opportunity to interact with a panel including Auburn City Mayor Bill Ham, Auburn City Manager Charlie Duggan as well as members of Auburn's City Council.

The event is intended to strengthen and build upon the relationship between students and our local government officials. Director of Town Halls for the 2017 - 2018 year Julianne Lyn said this is will be a rare opportunity for students because they can not only hear the city officials speak but be able to question them on issues related to students in the community.

Coffee and donuts will also be provided at the event.
