Fourth Quarter
- 4:44 Christian Tutt picks off Abraham. He returns in to the 25 yard line.
- 5:10 False start on Southern Miss. The Golden Eagles have a second and 17 on the 42.
- 5:40 New left tackle Bailey Sharp got beat off the edge. Stidham is hit as he is trying to throw. He fumbles and Southern Miss recovers.
- 7:40 Nothing going for Southern Miss as Auburn forces pressure on Abraham on all three plays. Southern Miss to punt. Auburn will start on their own 40 yard line.
- 8:45 Auburn will be forced to punt from their 33 yard line.
- 10:09 Auburn forces Southern Miss to punt. Auburn will take over on their 16 yard line.
- 11:39 Southern Miss will start on their own 48 yard line.
- 12:15 Stidham is sacked on third and long. Auburn is deep in their own territory and will have to punt.

- 5:39 Stidham throws to Cox for a touchdown. Carlson extra point is good. Auburn leads Southern Miss 21-6. It was a 71 yard drive on 4 plays for the Tigers.
- 6:40 Stidham with a deep post to Darius Slayton. Play picks up 53 yards. Auburn is on the 12 yard line in Southern Miss territory.
- 7:40 Southern Miss is going backwards now with a fourth and 26. They bring Shaunfieod on for a 51 yard field goal and he nails it. Auburn's lead is cut to 8 as it is 14-6 now.
- 9:40 Southern Miss is driving. After a couple of complete pass, the Golden Eagles are at the Auburn 31 yard line.
- 11:45 Sippos on to punt. He pins Southern Miss back at the 3 yard line.
- 12:40 Malik Miller catches a 30 yard pass to gain the first down. Auburn is in Southern Miss territory.
- 13:12 Stidham steps up in the pocket and completes a dart to Seth Williams. Am Martin was holding though so Auburn will have a third and 20.

Second Quarter
- 0:00 Auburn will take a 14-3 lead to halftime. The break will be only 15 minutes. Auburn will receive the ball to start the second half.
- 0:36 Auburn punts for a touchback. Southern Miss with a 17 yard run to start their drive.
- 0:56 Auburn completes a pass to Darius Slayton that was ruled incomplete but after the review the call on the field was reversed. Auburn is driving and at the 47 yard line.
- 1:19 Sippos on to punt for Auburn. He is roughed though. Auburn gets a first down from the penalty.
- 1:28 After a Southern Miss punt, Auburn has the ball on their 11 yard line. Stidham hands off to Marin who gains 4 yards to the 15. Southern Miss calls timeout. Auburn is facing third and 6.
- 1:41 Southern Miss has put together a drive to get into Auburn territory. They face a third and 9 from the 41.
- 3:15 Southern Miss will take over on the 30 yard line.
- 3:25 Auburn will be forced to punt after a 16 yard drive. Arryn Sippos on to punt.
- Running back JaTarvious Whitlow is not in pads after the delay. He injured his shoulder earlier in the first half.

6:51 P.M. After a two and a half hour delay, the teams are warming up. Game is slated to start back in the next few minutes.
4:54 P.M. More lightning in the area. 39 minute delay so far. Will be at least an hour delay. I would not expect a start back before at least 5:30 P.M.
4:27 Lightning has been detected in the area. There will be at least a 30 minute delay here at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
4:27 Southern Miss with a 64 yard punt. Auburn will take over on their own 9 yard line.
6:43 Anthony Schwartz with the six yard touchdown run on an end around. Schwartz was in motion from left to right and took it outside the hashes untouched. Auburn leads 14-3.
- 7:30 Third and 1 for Auburn from the 8 yard line. Martin gains the first down.
- 9:00 Harrel with another false start. This time on third and ten. Kam Martin with 17 yard reception on third down for the first down.
- 10:35 Whitlow with a catch out of the backfield for 15 yards. Auburn is threatening on the Southern Miss 29 yard line.
- 12:50 Southern Miss with a pouch kick and almost recovers. Auburn takes over on the 27 yard line.
- 12:56 Parker Shaunfieod kicks a 45 yard field goal for Southern Miss. Auburn leads 7-3.
- Auburn gained 63 total yards in the first quarter. 46 came on the touchdown to Williams. The Tigers had six penalties for 58 yards in the first quarter. Auburn only rushed for three yards in the first quarter.
First Quarter
- 1:07 False start for Marquell Harrell. Three of Auburn's five offensive linemen have penalties in the first quarter. Auburn will have to punt after failing to gain a third and 17.
- 1:07 JaTarvious Whitlow with a first down carry for Auburn. Mike Horton with a hold though and it will be third and 13 from the 8.
- 2:56 Abraham goes over the middle of the field into double coverage. Jeremiah Dinson with the interception. Auburn will take over on their own 11 yard line.
- 3:39 Stidham got hit but threw a deep shot to Seth Williams. Williams went up and got it for a touchdown. Anders Carlson extra point is good. Auburn leads 7-0.
- 4:26 Southern Miss will have to punt from their own end zone. Auburn will take over in Southern Miss territory again with the ball at the 47 yard line.
- 4:33 Daniel Thomas almost intercepted Jack Abraham. It would have been a pick six for Auburn. Third and long for Southern Miss who is backed up against their goal line.

- 10:10 Auburn takes a deep shot on their first play of the game. Seth Williams had single coverage but could not come up with the catch.
- 10:17 Southern Miss punts the ball into the end zone. Auburn will take over on the 20 yard line.
- 10:28 Southern Miss lined up to go for it on fourth and four from the Auburn 44, but Auburn called timeout.
- 11:11 Southern Miss takes a timeout before a third and ten play from the 49 yard line.
- 12:10 Hands to the face penalty on Derrick Brown gives Southern Miss a first down. The Golden Eagles are at midfield on the opening drive of the game.
PREGAME
- Auburn won the toss but will defer to the second half. Southern Miss will get the ball to start the game.
- Nick Brahms earns his second straight start at center. Kam Martin is announced as the starting running back, which hasn't meant anything in the last few weeks.
